CHARACTER NAME: Will Graham
CHARACTER CANON: Hannibal (TV)
[OOC]
Slowtagging: Absolutely, and please generally expect that I will be on the slow side as well. If there's ever anything I'm lagging on that you would like to move faster (for plot, character development, etc.), please just let me know and I'll do my best.
Canon-puncturing: Please don't, for now. Because Hannibal Lecter/Silence of the Lambs is such a culturally known thing, your pup may connect those dots to themselves, but please don't tell Will. He's fragile enough as it is.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): Will and I both are fairly hard to rattle, but if it's something really egregious, maybe just give me a heads up first.
[IC]
Hugging this character: You're welcome to try; Will will be startled and probably just stand very still until you stop.
Kissing this character: Probably not a good idea, without a prior established relationship or flirtation. Check first.
Flirting with this character: Go ahead; Will will be baffled and probably respond inappropriately.
Fighting with this character: Yes. Spoilers: your character will probably win. Will can hold his own with an average opponent, but people with superpowers, special training, etc., would easily best him.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Anything other than minor injuries (bruises, scrapes, sprains, etc.) should be discussed first.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Yes, but be aware that Will's mind can be a very dark, chaotic place. He has seen a lot of terrible things. Let's discuss this before it happens.
General Warnings: Will most often comes off as aloof or disinterested, due to the way he consistently withdraws or holds himself apart from people. This isn't because he's snobbish or stuck up, but because of his very heightened sense of empathy which can lead to something like sensory overload, so it's more of a survival or defense mechanism than anything else.
As canon has given us little to go by in regards to how Will's empath abilities play out in areas not involving crime scene reconstruction and profiling, I probably will not play much with it, but it's probably safe to assume at the very least that if your character is in an heightened emotional state that Will will pick up on it, even if your character is trying to hide it. He probably will not comment on it unless he has reason to feel suspicious.
[GODMODDING]
For now, no one. If Will isn't around for an extended period of time, assume he is hiding out in his room.
